Rewind on 2025 with JA Bloor Agri Services

What a year it has been! As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the highlights from the last 12 months; from community events and open days to county shows and ploughing matches.

Open Day Success

We started the year with our Open Day in March, where we welcomed customers, suppliers, and friends to Overton Farm. The event brought the local community together for a day filled with demonstrations, great conversations, and an opportunity to explore the latest machinery and services we offer. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones too, thank you to everyone who joined us and for helping us to support the RABI by raising over £7,000!

Local Shows & Events

May saw us back at the Staffordshire County Show, a firm fixture in our calendar. Over two days, we showcased a wide range of agricultural, groundcare and construction machinery, shared plenty of advice, and enjoyed meeting customers from across the region. These events are all about community and we loved every minute.

2025 also saw us attend the Manifold Show, another highlight packed with community spirit, demonstrations and rural engagement. It’s always inspiring to see so many people celebrating agriculture and countryside life and we’re already looking forward to being there again.

Later in the season, we also supported the local Brailsford Ploughing Match in October. The annual event celebrates farming heritage with traditional ploughing and hedge cutting competitions, vintage tractors, and trade stands, and we were proud to host machinery displays and catch up with visitors over a cuppa and homemade cake.

One of our greatest achievements this year was certainly completing the best show stand “Hattrick” by winning the best stand award at our 3 biggest shows of the year; Stafford County Show, Brailsford Ploughing Match & the English Winter Fair.

Industry Events & Exhibitions

As autumn arrived, the team headed to PlantWorx 2025, the UK’s leading live construction equipment showcase. This was a great opportunity to connect with our colleagues at Takeuchi and see the latest plant innovations and broaden our horizons within the wider machinery world.

Wrapping Up with the Winter Fair

To round off a busy year, we were thrilled to return to the English Winter Fair at Stafford Showground in November. With a great atmosphere, brilliant visitors and plenty of festive cheer, it was the perfect way to finish the 2025 show season. We’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by the stand, your support makes it all worthwhile!

Investing in Apprenticeships

All whilst navigating through a busy year, we have also taken on board 2 eager & motivated apprentices in our workshop, Katie & George. Both equally keen to learn new skills and get their careers started!
