A Busy Start to 2026 at JAB Agri

2026 First Quarter Round-Up

As we move through the early months of 2026, we’re pleased to share some highlights from a busy and productive start to the year.

JANUARY

We kicked off the year at LAMMA, a key industry networking event where we supported our agricultural wholegoods partners. It was great to see many of our leading suppliers exhibiting, including Kubota, Kverneland, Vicon, Redrock, Bunning, Weidemann, Storth, Strimech, alongside valued partners such as Octopost Fencing, Granit Tools, and many more.

The new year has brought with it a renewed focus on our core brands and improving productivity across the business.

Behind the scenes, we continue to refine how we work to deliver the best possible service to our customers. Recently, we relocated our sales team into the main office to enhance communication and responsiveness. We have also been working closely with our management accounts software provider to improve system efficiency for both the business and our team.

FEBRUARY

We are proud to represent a strong portfolio of high-quality brands and remain committed to building close relationships with our partners. This includes hosting meetings, attending dealer sessions, and participating in training at manufacturer sites.

In February, we were pleased to welcome Jason Periam, the newly appointed Head of Sales at Takeuchi, to our offices. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to align on sales plans and discuss future growth strategies with a long-standing and valued supplier.

Jason, Janine & Austin also attended a Kubota Regional Dealer Meeting, gaining valuable insight into new systems, product developments, marketing tools, and strategic plans for the year ahead.

MARCH

As global events continue to evolve, including ongoing conflict in the Middle East, we remain mindful of potential impacts such as rising costs and supply chain challenges.

On a more positive note, we were delighted to host an informal gathering for local NFU members from Stone and Cheadle. We were also pleased to welcome Dr Tamsin Fisher from Keele University, who shared insights from her research into supporting farmers’ mental health and wellbeing.

Guests enjoyed a tour of our premises, and Jason spoke about his passion for farming and his journey in building both J A Bloor Agricultural Services Ltd and the farm. The evening concluded with relaxed socialising and a hearty supper, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success.

The following morning, we welcomed Matt Turner from Kverneland UK to meet with local customers over breakfast and discuss their range of high-quality, reliable products.

We also remain committed to supporting those in need within the agricultural community. We were proud to donate a model tractor and trailer to the RABI Annual Dinner auction, raising much needed funds for the charity.

With Easter just around the corner and longer, lighter days ahead, it’s a great time to reflect on the importance of wellbeing. We encourage everyone to take care of themselves and those around them, and to make use of the support available through organisations such as FCN, RABI, and Farm Safety Support.
