2024: A Year in Review

As we approach the end of another year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what has been an exciting and productive year here at J A Bloor Agricultural Services. It’s been a year of growth, shows & events, and continued dedication to serving the agricultural community with the best machinery, parts and service available.

FETF 2024 Grant Open Day

In the spring, we had the pleasure of hosting our FETF Grant Open Day. The event was a great success, bringing together local farmers, contractors, and industry experts to discuss and demonstrate the latest innovations in animal welfare, muck spreading and slurry management. With practical demonstrations, expert talks, and a showcase of the latest machinery, the open day proved to be a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking. We were delighted to see so many of you take part in this informative event and getting the most from the FETF grants!

Ashbourne Farmers Club

We were delighted to host an evening of stock judging for the Ashbourne Farmers Club, we thank all of our friends & colleagues for a wonderful local farming family & community event!

Staffordshire County Show

Our team was proud to attend the Staffordshire County Show, one of the region’s best agricultural events. We showcased a wide range of high-quality agricultural, groundcare & construction machinery, including Kubota, Kverneland, Weidemann, Takeuchi, Storth and Redrock to name a few, and we also had the opportunity to meet with farmers, contractors, and suppliers. We thank all those who visited our stand and look forward to seeing you at future events.

Brailsford Ploughing Match

This year, JABAGRI was also present at the Brailsford Ploughing Match, a prestigious event that celebrates the skills of traditional and modern ploughing. It was great to see so many familiar faces and share in the spirit of competition and camaraderie. We were proud to support the event and had a fantastic time engaging with participants and visitors. The ploughing match is always a reminder of the rich history of agriculture and the hard work that goes into it.

Harvest Supper with Kubota & Kverneland

In addition to attending external events, we were excited to host a Harvest Supper along with Kubota & Kverneland this year. The evening was a wonderful occasion to bring together local farmers & contractors to celebrate the harvest season. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, exchanged stories, and learned more about the latest Kubota & Kverneland machinery. It was a true testament to the strong relationships we’ve built within the agricultural community.

Takeuchi Dig Day

In another exciting event, we had the pleasure of hosting a Takeuchi Dig Day. This hands-on event allowed visitors to try out Takeuchi’s impressive range of excavators, breakers & tracked dumpers, gaining first-hand experience with these robust and reliable machines. It was an exciting day filled with practical demonstrations, expert advice, and plenty of digging fun! We are grateful to everyone who joined us and made the event such a success. Takeuchi’s equipment continues to be a trusted choice for many in the industry, and it was great to showcase their capabilities in a real-world setting.

Welcoming Joe to Our Parts Department

This year, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Joe to our team in the Parts Department. Joe has joined us as Aftersales Support and will be a valuable asset to our growing team. With Joe on board, we can continue to provide prompt and efficient parts ordering, delivery, and expert advice to keep your equipment running at its best. We are excited to have him as part of the JABAGRI family and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our aftersales service.

Kubota 50th Anniversary in PortAventura

A highlight of the year for our team was Austin & Matt’s trip to the Kubota 50th Anniversary celebration in PortAventura, Spain. This remarkable event marked 50 years of Kubota machinery in Europe, and we were honoured to attend and join in the celebrations. Austin and Matt had the opportunity to meet with fellow Kubota dealerships, learn about the latest innovations in Kubota machinery, and bring back valuable insights to share with our customers and colleagues. It was a fantastic experience, and we are proud to be part of such an iconic brand’s journey.

Feed the Nation

The Bloor family were proud to join the countries farmers, visiting London on the 19th of November and the 16th of December, to provide solidarity and support to our nations agricultural community.

Uttoxeter Truck & Tractor Christmas Convoy 2024

Finally, a selection of the JABAGRI team was delighted to spread some Christmas joy to our local families in Uttoxeter by participating in the annual truck & tractor Christmas convoy; the biggest (and the brightest) one to date!
